As a means of payment, you can transfer money with a value of BTC at $10k, or $1m or $0.01. As a store of value, BTC doesn't pay any dividend and therefore the only reason why one would invest in it is if you think they will be more demand for it vs sellers of it. That is called speculation, not investing in my humble opinion
